Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited conduct, fake loads, prohibited goods, and misuse of the Platform.

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules governing your use of The Carrier Hub Platform. Breach of this AUP may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

1. Prohibited Conduct -- All Users

You must not:

  • Post fictitious, fraudulent, or duplicate loads with no genuine intent to ship
  • Misrepresent the nature, weight, dimensions, or value of goods
  • Use the Platform to transport prohibited, illegal, or dangerous goods (see Section 3)
  • Attempt to circumvent the Platform's payment system by arranging direct payment with another user
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other Platform users
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions or bans
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Platform
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform without our written consent
  • Impersonate another person or business
  • Upload false or expired compliance documentation
  • Engage in any activity that violates applicable law or regulation

2. Prohibited Conduct -- Carriers

In addition to the above, Carriers must not:

  • Submit Bids on loads they do not have the capacity, equipment, or licences to fulfil
  • Sub-contract loads to third parties not registered on the Platform without the Shipper's consent
  • Operate vehicles without valid insurance, MOT, or operator's licence
  • Allow unlicensed or uninsured drivers to operate vehicles used for Platform loads
  • Falsify Proof of Delivery photographs or upload PODs for deliveries not completed

3. Prohibited Goods

The following categories of goods must not be transported through loads posted on the Platform:

  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or precursor chemicals
  • Firearms, ammunition, or explosive materials (without appropriate licences)
  • Counterfeit goods or goods infringing intellectual property rights
  • Stolen goods or goods of unknown provenance
  • Live animals (without appropriate licences and welfare documentation)
  • Human remains or body parts
  • Hazardous materials not properly declared and packaged in accordance with ADR regulations
  • Goods subject to export controls or sanctions without appropriate authorisation

4. AI and Automated Features

Our Platform uses AI-powered features including price prediction, carrier matching, and route optimisation. You must not attempt to manipulate or game these systems, including by submitting false data to influence AI outputs.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, please report it to [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

6. Consequences of Breach

Breach of this AUP may result in:

  • Immediate account suspension pending investigation
  • Permanent account termination
  • Forfeiture of any outstanding payments
  • Referral to law enforcement authorities
  • Civil legal action for damages

7. Changes

We may update this AUP at any time to reflect changes in law, Platform features, or operational requirements.
